Sb is worthy to do sth. 如：He's worthy to become mayor. 他值得成为市长。 Sth is worthy to be done. 如：The book is worthy to be read. 这本书值得读。 主语是具体的人或物，不能用形式主语it。worthy to后用do sth还是be done根据do与主语的逻辑关系来定：如果主语是do的发出者（一般为sb），用主动语态，此时do动词多为become, have等；如果主语是do 的受动者（一般为sth），用被动语态。 不能说Sth is worthy doing. 即用worthy时，不能用主动的doing表示被动的意思。 ❖ worth还可用表示“值多少钱，值得花…时间”，结构为：Sth is worth + money/time. 其他两个词不能用于此义。如：The book is worth five dollars. 这本书值5美元。不能说The book is worthy of five dollars. |
